Patient Advocacy Department
The Patient and Provider Advocacy Department (Patient Relations Department) is available to answer questions and/or address concerns regarding care received at Ochsner. Our goal is to enhance your satisfaction by focusing on you. If you have a concern regarding care or service received, a Patient Advocate will interview you to get information regarding your clinic or hospital experience and investigate your concerns.
Katie Fauquier is the Director of Public Relations for Ochsner Health. A Louisiana native, Katie spent nearly a decade working in marketing agencies, developing and implementing national campaigns for clients in the healthcare, nonprofit, governmental and tourism industries. A self-described “old soul” and music lover, Katie’s favorite concert experience was attending 2016’s Desert Trip Festival.
Giselle Hecker is the Director of National, Government and Crisis Public Relations for Ochsner Health. With more than 15 years of experience, she is responsible for strategic planning and direction of all external and media-specific communications for all Ochsner Health regions and entities, and related ventures, affiliations and partnerships. Giselle direct all aspects of external communication and relationships with the local, regional, national and industry media including reputation management and crisis communications for the system. Prior to Ochsner, she lived in Chicago leading and executing public relations campaigns for national and global clients across various industries for Weber Shandwick, Leo Burnett and Cramer-Krasselt. In her spare time, Giselle is often traveling the world.
Daryl Cetnar is the Regional Director of Communications for Ochsner Health, working in the Baton Rouge and southwestern Louisiana markets. Prior to Ochsner, he served in the same role at Lafayette General Health for six-and-a-half years and in public relations director roles for professional and collegiate athletics for the previous 15 years. A native of New York, Daryl still holds his passion for the New York Yankees very near and dear to his heart. As a “retired” college hockey player, he’s the rare person in Louisiana looking for an NHL game on TV.
Christine Rigamer, APR
Christine Rigamer is a Senior Public Relations Specialist for Ochsner Health. An accredited public relations professional (APR) with more than seven years experience, Christine has worked with clients across a variety of industries including business, hospitality and nonprofit. Christine was named the 2014 PR Practitioner of the Year by the Public Relations Association of Louisiana – New Orleans chapter. Originally from Texas, Christine considers herself an adopted New Orleanian.
