Chief Executive Officer, Ochsner CHRISTUS Health Centers, Lake Charles
Chuck Daigle serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ochsner Baton Rouge, as well as Ochsner CHRISTUS Health Centers in Lake Charles.
As CEO, Daigle is responsible for overseeing the healthcare delivery system in the Baton Rouge region and coordinating activities with CHRISTUS in Lake Charles.
His expanded operational responsibility includes Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge, Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove, Ochsner Cancer Center – Baton Rouge and numerous health centers throughout the region. Daigle has administrative responsibility for partner relationships, including Louisiana Women's Healthcare.
Before serving in Baton Rouge, Daigle served as CEO of Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport. Under his leadership, the system expanded with multiple new clinic locations and a new hospital, while more than 800 employees and 280 physicians were added. In addition, he oversaw $200 million invested in extensive capital improvements to current and new facilities, and implementation of an advanced electronic medical record system.
Daigle brings more than two decades of experience in healthcare management and health insurance, including roles as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Willis Knighton Health System in Shreveport, and as vice president of management and professional services at Our Lake of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He served as a member of the executive committee and board chairman for the Louisiana Hospital Association, and as a board member for Vizient/VHA Gulf States, among several others.
Daigle earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees of business administration from LSU.
He and his wife, Brandi, have two sons and live in Baton Rouge.
