Ochsner Health to Occupy Former Walgreens Location at 5300 Tchoupitoulas Street

Ochsner Health Center—Tchoupitoulas set to open this summer

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Ochsner Health(Ochsner) has announced that it will open a new combined specialty health center and therapy and wellness clinic on Tchoupitoulas Street, occupying the former Walgreens space in the Riverside Market shopping center. The facility plans to open this summer.

Ochsner Health Center— Tchoupitoulas (5300 Tchoupitoulas Street, Suite C) will feature over 13,000 square feet of dedicated space, offering primary care, general imaging and laboratory services, with plans to offer additional specialties later this year. The Ochsner Therapy and Wellness clinic will provide physical therapy for general orthopedic care including services to help recover from surgeries, pain, sprains and strains.

The new facility will be fully integrated with Ochsner’s electronic medical record, the industry-leading Epic software, greatly expanding coordination of patient care across the entire Ochsner Health System. Patients at the new facility and all patients throughout Ochsner Health also have access to MyOchsner, a secure online tool that allows patients to communicate with physicians, schedule online appointments, view lab and imaging results, prescription refills and more.

Ochsner Health Center— Tchoupitoulas will be open Monday – Friday. Additional details will be announced this summer.
