St. Charles Parish Hospital Adds Physicians and Expands Services to Provide Greater Access
LULING - St. Charles Parish Hospital has added various specialties and is relocating several practices to provide much needed services to the St. Charles Parish community.
St. Charles Parish Hospital’s new Plantation View Medical Offices (PVMO) is receiving a significant boost in its’ family care capabilities with several new services coming on-line. OB/GYN Dr. Sheena Pullman began seeing patients at Plantation View in mid-August and is currently accepting appointments. Dr. Pullman received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed her residency at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans.
Additionally, PVMO will see the relocation of the Destrehan Pediatric Clinic, from their current location at 1970 Ormond Boulevard, and the relocation of Dr. Brian Brogle’s Urology practice from his two locations in Luling and LaPlace. These relocations will provide both the pediatric and urology practices with a brand new facility to continue serving the citizens of St. Charles Parish. Both services will be available to patients at PVMO in early September.
“When we opened the Plantation View Medical Offices in March, we did so as part of our commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of the St. Charles Parish community,” said Ritchie Dupre, CEO, St. Charles Parish Hospital. “By bringing women’s services and pediatrics to the facility, residents now have greater access to the much needed specialties.”
Primary care physician Dr. Sonia Alencherry also began seeing patients at St. Charles Parish Hospital at the end of August. Dr. Alencherry earned her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University and completed her residency at the LSU Health Science Center Family Medicine Clinic at Ochsner Medical Center – Kenner.
