Patients rank Ochsner’s ACO No. 3 in nation for care coordination

Ochsner LSU Health has appointed Dr. Dani Zoorob as its new Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), where he will lead the integration of clinical informatics and data-driven strategies to enhance patient care and health system operations across North Louisiana. A seasoned leader and academic, Dr. Zoorob brings extensive expertise in healthcare innovation, education, and technology, positioning Ochsner LSU Health at the forefront of medical advancements and patient-centered care.

The QOPI® Certification Program builds on ASCO’s Quality Oncology Practice Initiative, providing a three-year certification for outpatient hematology-oncology practices that meet nationally recognized standards for quality cancer care.  

Ochsner LSU Health welcomes Dr. Kevin Purcell, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement and orthopedic trauma, to its Viking Drive and Ambulatory Care Center locations. With extensive training and experience, including two fellowships and roles in education, Dr. Purcell is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care for complex fractures, arthritis, and joint reconstruction.
