Meet Dr. Christopher Stage: Advancing Urological Care at Ochsner LSU Health

SHREVEPORT, La. – Ochsner LSU Health is excited to welcome board-certified urologist Christopher Stage, MD to its team at Ochsner LSU Health – Regional Urology. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Stage provides cutting-edge, patient-centered care for a wide range of urological conditions. 

 

Dr. Stage specializes in advanced urological procedures, including minimally invasive and advanced treatments for kidney stones, enlarged prostate, and vasectomy.  He is experienced in the use of sacral neuromodulation, for such conditions as urinary urge incontinence and overactive bladder, as well as fecal incontinence, ensuring patients receive innovative, effective care while reducing recovery times.  

 

Passionate about improving patient outcomes, Dr. Stage combines expert care with compassionate communication to deliver the best outcome for his patients.

A Shreveport native, Dr. Stage earned his medical degree from the LSU Health Shreveport and completed his urology residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, where he also pursued specialized training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. 

 

Dr. Stage is an active member of the American Urological Association, Louisiana State Medical Society and Shreveport Medical Society, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of urology and improving patient care. He also serves as an assistant professor of urology at LSU Health Shreveport.
