Meridian-area native Dr. Erin Britt joins Ochsner Rush Neurology
MERIDIAN, Miss. – Ochsner Rush Health is pleased to welcome Meridian-area native Erin Britt, MD, to its neurology department, expanding access to specialized neurological care for patients across East Mississippi and West Alabama.
Dr. Britt specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders and has expertise in clinical neurophysiology and electrodiagnostic testing, including electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS). She provides comprehensive neurologic care for patients with conditions such as epilepsy, seizure disorders, neuropathy, dementia, headaches, concussion and other disorders of the nervous system.
As a Meridian-area native, Dr. Britt is excited to return home and serve the community that helped shape her career in medicine.
“I am honored to care for patients in the community that means so much to me,” said Dr. Britt. “Neurological conditions can have a significant impact on patients and families, and I look forward to partnering with them to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while helping them better understand their health and treatment options.”
Dr. Britt earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2021. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2025 and went on to complete a fellowship in neurophysiology in 2026.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and remains committed to staying current on advances in neurological care.
Dr. Britt believes in developing personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique concerns, goals and quality-of-life needs. She works closely with patients and families to ensure they understand their neurological conditions and treatment options.
Dr. Britt is accepting new patients at Ochsner Rush Neurology.
