Message to Ochsner Health employees from Pete November, CEO, and Tracey Schiro, Chief People and Culture Officer

Dear Ochsner Team,

Every day Ochsner team members show up with purpose, skill and compassion, and it is our privilege and responsibility to show up for them in return.

We are proud to announce that effective May 31, 2026, Ochsner Health will increase our minimum wage to $15 per hour. This represents a meaningful increase in pay for over 3,000 of our colleagues across the system. This minimum wage increase applies to all team member groups including full-time, part-time and PRN.

We are committed to recognizing the value of our entire team fairly and equitably and will continue to review roles over time to ensure differences across pay grades remain meaningful.

Over the past several years, Ochsner has focused on strengthening the financial well-being of our workforce through benefits including our tuition assistance and student loan assistance programs, Rain Earned Wage Access, LPN apprenticeships, parental leave and more.

When will impacted team members see this change?

Impacted team members’ increased minimum wage pay will go into effect on May 31, 2026, and will be reflected in their first paycheck after that date which falls on Friday, June 19. If you are impacted by this change, you will be directly notified before the effective date.

It is because of the incredible work each one of you does every day that we can make investments like this. Improving the lives of our team reflects who we are and what we value as an organization.

If you have questions about this change, contact your leader or open a case in Workday HR Connect.

Thank you for everything you do for your patients, your teams and this organization.

Sincerely,

Pete November
President and Chief Executive Officer
