Ochsner Children’s Health Center - Meridian expands pediatric services in newly renovated location
MERIDIAN, Miss. – Ochsner Children’s Health Center - Meridian now offers families access to both general pediatric care and specialized rehabilitation services in one newly renovated, child-friendly location. The expanded facility is designed to make care more convenient for families while supporting every aspect of a child’s well-being in a welcoming environment created with children in mind.
The health center will provide the trusted pediatric services families rely on, including:
Newborn care
Well-child visits
Sick visits
Immunizations
Physicals
Laboratory services
X-ray
Hearing tests
EPSDT screenings
Referral access to specialty care doctors
TB skin testing
Bringing these services together under one roof, the center simplifies care for patients and caregivers across the Meridian community.
In addition to general pediatrics, the center now offers a range of rehabilitation services to support children with diverse developmental, physical and communication needs, including:
Physical therapy
Occupational therapy
Speech/swallowing therapy
Dyslexia evaluations
Wheelchair evaluations
Augmentative communication evaluations
The renovation creates a comfortable and supportive setting where medical care and therapeutic services can work together in one place. The expanded space reflects Ochsner Children’s ongoing commitment to focused, coordinated pediatric care and stronger community connections.
