Ochsner Health included amongst Newsweek’s America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2024

New Orleans, Louisiana, 2024 - Several Ochsner Health hospitals have been named among America’s Best Maternity Hospitals by Newsweek for excellence in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns. The list recognizes 424 hospitals nationwide. Ochsner Health facilities honored in 2024 include:

  • Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge​
  • Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center

Health facilities are ranked based on three pillars; a nationwide online survey taken by healthcare professionals that are knowledgeable about maternity processes, patient experience surveys, and Hospital Quality Metrics. Indicators relevant to maternity care were considered. This research and analysis service is based on the success of statista.com, a leading data and business intelligence portal that provides statistics, relevant business data, and various market and consumer studies and surveys.
