Ochsner Health wins Top Workplaces for Nursing 2026 Award

National recognition from Nurse.com and Energage highlights employers investing in the employee experience

Ochsner Health wins Top Workplaces for Nursing 2026 Award

NEW ORLEANSOchsner Health has been awarded a Top Workplaces for Nursing 2026 honor by Nurse.com, recognizing the health system’s commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive and empowering work environment for nurses across its teams.

The national honor highlights organizations that prioritize nurse engagement, professional development and well-being—elements that are central to Ochsner’s mission to serve, heal, lead, educate and innovate.

Top Workplaces for Nursing is an employer recognition program developed by Energage, the HR technology company behind the Top Workplaces awards, in partnership with Nurse.com, an online community where more than 3 million nurses connect with peers, pursue career opportunities and complete continuing education.

“At Ochsner Health, our nurses are the foundation of the care we provide and the culture we build,” said Tiffany Murdock, senior vice president and chief nursing and clinical excellence officer at Ochsner Health. “This recognition reflects the voices of our nurses and reinforces our commitment to investing in their professional growth, well-being and ability to deliver exceptional care to the patients and communities we serve.”

Honorees are selected based solely on confidential employee feedback collected through the Energage Workplace Survey. The survey measures key aspects of employee experience, including whether nurses feel respected and supported, have opportunities for career growth and are empowered to provide high-quality patient care. Benchmarked against their peers using Energage’s national data, winners scored significantly higher in key indicators of nurse engagement and satisfaction.

National leaders behind the award emphasized the importance of employer support in sustaining the nursing workforce.

“Each of these winning organizations has demonstrated they provide what nurses nationwide are saying they need to stay and thrive,” said Kay Krafft, CEO of Relias. “It’s our honor to spotlight leaders who invest in their people. Employer support helps workforces perform at their best, and nowhere is that more critical than in health care.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for organizations, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” Eric Rubino, chief executive officer, Energage said. “In today’s market, leaders must ensure employees have a voice and feel heard. Organizations that do this well see the impact across engagement, performance and retention.”

The recognition underscores Ochsner Health’s ongoing commitment to supporting nurses at every stage of their careers and creating a culture where they feel valued, heard and empowered. By prioritizing nurse engagement, professional development and clinical excellence, Ochsner continues to strengthen its workforce while delivering high-quality care to the patients and communities it serves.
