Ochsner Health, with Johnson and Johnson and The Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, to Host the 5th Annual Men’s Health Event

Wellness resources, no cost screenings and expert panels at Zulu headquarters on May 30

NEW ORLEANS – Ochsner Health will host the 5th annual Men’s Health Event at the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club headquarters on 732 N. Broad St. on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This marks the fifth consecutive year for this no cost event, which emphasizes men’s health and wellness.

Presented by Ochsner, Johnson and Johnson, with community partner The Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, the Men’s Health Event advances a core mission to improve healthcare access and healthy outcomes.

Access to healthcare for families and especially the men of the family is a priority of our organization,” said Oscar Rainey, president of Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. “The hope is that our community will take advantage of this important and comprehensive health opportunity."

  • Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center – prostate (PSA) screening and lung and colorectal cancer education

  • Ochsner Neuroscience Institute – brain health survey and education

  • Positive Headspace – Mental Health & Wellness Services

The men’s health event will include a discussion - The Connection – Brain, Heart and Prostate Health moderated by Tonia Moore, Ph.D., assistant vice-president, community and public affairs, Ochsner Health. The panel will include, Yvens Laborde, MD, chief community medical officer, Ochsner Health; William Bennett, MD, cardiologist, Ochsner Health;  Bridget Bagert, MD, director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center, Ochsner  Neuroscience Institute and  Gregory Lacy, II, MD, urologist, Health and Wellness Committee Member, Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club.
