Ochsner LSU Health – St. Mary Medical Center to host health fair for the Shreveport-Bossier community

SHREVEPORT, La. – Ochsner LSU Health – St. Mary Medical Center will host a community health fair on Saturday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to the public. 

The health fair underscores Ochsner LSU Health’s commitment to proactive wellness and community engagement. Attendees will have access to a range of important health services and information. 

The event will feature complimentary biometric screenings including cholesterol, glucose, BMI (body mass index) and blood pressure checks providing valuable insights into personal health metrics. Additionally, lung cancer screenings will be available for eligible individuals. 

As a trusted health partner, Ochsner LSU Health will provide numerous health information tables staffed by knowledgeable professionals. These resources are designed to educate the community on various health topics and preventive care. The event is designed for the whole family, featuring a kids’ zone with engaging STEM activities to inspire young minds while adults focus on their health.
