Ochsner LSU Health welcomes Josh Moser as new vice president of finance

SHREVEPORT, La. – Ochsner LSU Health System of North Louisiana announced the appointment of Josh Moser as its new Vice President of Finance. Moser brings over 20 years of leadership in healthcare, with a proven record of enhancing financial performance and driving organizational growth. 

In his new role, Moser will support the chief financial officer to optimize financial operations for Ochsner LSU Health, helping guide the system’s financial strategy to support its mission of providing exceptional healthcare to the community. He joins the organization as a veteran of the United States Army, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center.

Moser is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia with concentrations in finance, healthcare management and data analytics. His career is marked by a commitment to data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and talent development, which aligns with the mission and values of Ochsner LSU Health.
