SHREVEPORT, La. – Ochsner LSU Health is proud to welcome four new providers to its team, expanding access to care in Shreveport-Bossier and the surrounding communities.
Adam Blancher, MD joins as an otolaryngologist (ENT – ear, nose and throat) and will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – Ambulatory Care Center at 1606 Kings Highway. Dr. Blancher earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana and also earned a master's degree in biomedical science from the Mississippi College School of Graduate Studies. He went on to complete his residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck Surgery at LSU New Orleans.

Chelsea Gertze, MD joins as a board-certified and fellowship-trained hospitalistand will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – Academic Medical Center at 1541 Kings Highway. Dr. Gertze earned her medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland, and her residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Gertze completed a fellowship in nephrology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Hans-Magne Hamnvag, MD joins as a board-certified and fellowship-trained pathologist and will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – Academic Medical Center. Dr. Hamnvag earned his medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland and completed his residency in combined anatomic and clinical pathology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Hamnvag completed two fellowships: one in hematopathology at the University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and another in surgical pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology and hematopathology.

Sara Mohamed, MD, BChjoins as a board-certified and fellowship-trained neonatologist and will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – St. Mary Medical Center, at one St. Mary Place. Dr. Mohamed earned her medical degree from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Alexandria, Egypt and completed her residency in pediatrics at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Lansing, Michigan. She completed a fellowship in pediatrics, neonatal and perinatal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
