Ochsner Rush Health welcomes pediatric nurse practitioner Brandi Hansford
MERIDIAN, Miss. – Ochsner Rush Health is pleased to announce the addition of Brandi Hansford, MSN, CPNP-PC, to its team of medical professionals. Hansford is now seeing patients at Ochsner Children’s Health Center in Meridian, providing comprehensive pediatric services and individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of every child in the community.
Hansford brings extensive clinical expertise to her new role, offering a wide range of services including child wellness examinations, sick visits and management of both acute and chronic pediatric conditions. Her clinical focus also extends to specialized areas such as neonatal care and breastfeeding support. She works collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated, family-centered care that addresses both the medical needs of her patients and the individual concerns of their families.
Hansford earned her Master of Science in nursing with a specialization as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile in 2018. She is board-certified in pediatric primary care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
In addition to treating immediate medical needs, Hansford places a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and health education. She is committed to empowering families by giving parents and caregivers the knowledge they need to make informed health care decisions that support long-term wellness for their children.
