Newsweek worked with global market research and data firm Statista Inc., to conduct its annual online survey with more than 4,400 physical rehabilitation experts. A total of 11 rehabilitation facilities throughout the state were named to the Louisiana list, with Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital taking the top spot.
Since its founding 36 years ago, The Great 100 Nurses Foundation has honored thousands of nurses across Louisiana, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The annual “Top Doctors” honorees are selected by Castle Connolly’s physician-led team of researchers, who review peer-nominations from licensed physicians and follow a rigorous screening process. A total of 528 physicians in 59 specialties were recognized in this year’s list.
The award recognizes Ochsner Cancer Institute’s Chemotherapy Care Companion program—a digital technology system that allows the cancer care team to remotely monitor patients who are on intravenous or oral anti-cancer treatment to manage any symptoms or adverse events between their medical appointments.
