Lafayette General, Ochsner merger official; System will now be known as Ochsner Lafayette General

Lafayette General Health System signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning on its merger with Ochsner Health System.

LGH will now be known as Ochsner Lafayette General, and the system will enhance access to care and improve the health and well-being of communities across Acadiana, LGH officials said this prior to a Wednesday press conference.
