With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, early detection is important. On Monday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Ochsner Health MD Anderson Cancer Center and St. Tammany Health System "Be Well Bus" will be providing mammogram screening at WDSU.

Ochsner St. Anne is pleased to announce Gerges Azer, MD, a Pain Management physician has joined the hospital’s medical staff.
Dr. Azer earned his medical doctorate (MD) from Alexandria University, School of Medicine in Egypt. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston Florida. He completed a regional anesthesia/acute interventional pain fellowship in addition to a chronic pain medicine fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
