According to a news release, the center is slated to become a 132,000-square-foot facility near Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans on Jefferson Highway. It was gifted by the Ochsner Neuroscience Institute. Following the grand opening, it will become the only major detached neuroscience facility in the south between Georgia and Texas, and its construction is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
