System Vice President, Chief Marketing & Consumer Insights Officer, Ochsner Health

As system vice president and chief marketing & consumer insights officer, Bergendahl leads and oversees all aspects of brand management, advertising, and digital marketing for the system. With a deep background in market research and customer insight, she taps into her experience to conduct qualitative and quantitative research to enhance the overall customer, patient, and physician experience, increase consumer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Bergendahl also works closely with the digital health team and the patient access and experience teams to define and develop exceptional end-to-end customer journeys. In this role, she expands Ochsner's focus on physician marketing, integrating opportunity data with consumer insights and optimizing technology platforms to drive commercial business.

Bergendahl previously served as system vice president, marketing & communications and vice president, strategic marketing for Ochsner Health. Before joining Ochsner in 2016, Bergendahl was with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, for eight years, serving in several marketing positions, including executive director, marketing. Bergendahl’s experience also includes three years with Texas Children’s Hospital.

Bergendahl earned an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree from Louisiana State University.
