Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, Ochsner Health

Tiffany Murdock is the Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. In this leadership role, Murdock sets the strategy and vision for Ochsner’s nursing practice while leading close to 10,000 nurses in clinical excellence, quality of care, education, and workforce development. She works in close collaboration with Chief Quality Officer who oversees the system focus on quality. Murdock joined Ochsner’s leadership team in June 2023.

As part of the Ochsner nursing team, Murdock brings extensive healthcare leadership experience, previously serving in executive, operations and nursing leadership positions at health systems across the country. Prior to joining Ochsner, Murdock was Chief Executive Officer of Singing River Health System, where she led a team of more than 3,500 employees caring for patients across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Murdock has previously led nursing teams as Regional Chief Nursing Officer of St. Joseph Health System in California and as system CNO at Asante Health in Oregon.

Murdock holds a BSN in nursing, an MSN and MBA in Health Care Administration, and a doctoral degree in Public Health Executive Leadership.
