Ochsner Announces Weekend Closures Due to Tropical Storm Barry

All Hospitals and Emergency Departments Remain Open

New Orleans, LA (5:00 PM) – Due to the expected impact from Tropical Storm Barry, Ochsner Health will close outpatient healthcare facilities including Ochsner Health Centers, Ochsner Urgent Care clinics, Ochsner Therapy & Wellness Centers and Vision and Fitness Centers on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the following parishes and counties: Jefferson, Orleans, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, St. Charles, Terrebonne and Hancock County, MS. These facilities plan to resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 15. All Ochsner hospitals and emergency departments will remain open.

Patients with scheduled appointments impacted by these closures are being contacted directly to reschedule, but those with questions are urged to visit www.ochsner.org/weather for more information.
