Ochsner Baton Rouge Helps with COVID Vaccination Event for Hospitality Industry

Ochsner Baton Rouge will administer COVID-19 vaccines on Monday, May 24 at an event for hospitality industry workers. Hosted by the Baton Rouge Lodging Association, the event takes place 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel at 7000 Bluebonnet Blvd.

The event is free and open to all hospitality workers, including furloughed employees, along with vendors and other business partners that support the industry.

Vaccination appointments are not required, but they are recommended. Appointments can be made by calling (844) 888-2772 or visiting MyOchsner.org. Walk-ins will be accommodated as supply permits, though participants are encouraged to complete an online registration to save time.

In addition, photo ID and insurance cards will speed up the registration process, though they are not required to receive the vaccine.
