SHREVEPORT, La. Ochsner LSU Health – Spring Lake, primary care welcomes primary care physician Dr. Leticia Antunes and physician’s assistant Kayce Kirk. The providers will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – Spring Lake, primary care located at 8445 Line Ave, Suite 100, Shreveport, La., 71106.

Dr. Leticia Antunes is a board-certified family physician. She is a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she completed medical school and her internal medicine residency. Dr. Antunes completed her family medicine residency at LSU Health Shreveport in Monroe, La., where she served as a chief resident and was honored with the 2022 STFM Resident Teacher Award in recognition of her demonstrated interest in family medicine education. After residency, Dr. Antunes joined LSU Health Shreveport faculty in Shreveport, La. Her areas of interest include providing comprehensive continuing care for patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions. She is multilingual, fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, singing karaoke and spending time with her husband and stepchildren. She is accepting new patients from newborns and older at Ochsner LSU Health – Spring Lake, primary care.

Kayce Kirk, PA-C was born in Shreveport, La and raised in Grand Cane, La. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology at Northwestern State University followed by her physician assistant degree at LSU Health Shreveport. She has worked in family medicine since graduating the PA program in 2015. Kayce enjoys working on all body systems and the generalist approach that comes with family medicine. She loves utilizing her fascination with the human body to educate and help her patients. Kayce’s favorite part about her profession and primary care is the relationships she makes with her patients. Her approach to managing patients is to treat them as if they are family. Her areas of interest include urgent care, preventative medicine, chronic conditions, women’s health and mental health. Kayce has two daughters, Adelyn and Finley, who are her entire world. She enjoys being with family and friends, cooking, traveling and being outdoors. Kayce is accepting new patients ages 2 and older at Ochsner LSU Health – Spring Lake, primary care.
