Early detection is key

In 2018, Ochsner Health implemented a system-wide plan to aid in cancer prevention across the Gulf South aimed at improving outcomes for cancer patients in Louisiana. The plan focuses on increasing education and prevention efforts, screenings and early detection across the region. The Cancer Services Expo is a key component of this plan—bringing screenings and education straight to the community.
