This morning’s severe weather resulted in significant flooding across the area. We will continue to monitor updates from the National Weather Service as well as information and updates from city and parish officials in each of the communities we serve.
At this time, all South Shore facilities are operating normally. As we do with any weather event, the Ochsner Emergency Preparedness & Response team has been working to ensure that the system is prepared.
The safety of our staff and patients is our top priority. We urge everyone to exercise extreme caution and, if possible, avoid local roadways until street flooding subsides.
