Together, Healthy State members from every sector bring resources to underserved communities; better understand the impact of health and social conditions; utilize data, technology and innovation to improve outcomes; and invest in Louisiana’s economic growth and workforce.

Ochsner Health is proud to receive a 2023 Vizient Pharmacy Vision Award. Ochsner is recognized for Excellence in Innovation, which honors teams who have implemented novel approaches to complex patient care in conjunction with other departments.
The awards program identifies the “best in class” health systems in a local region from a consumer perspective across five specialties: Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neurology and Gastroenterology. In addition, the award program identifies healthcare providers' perspectives on which hospitals or health systems they consider best for care in their area.
Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Hospital for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine was previously awarded this two-year recognition in 2021 and are two of only three hospitals in Louisiana with this prestigious accreditation.
